This sounds like such a wonderful way of sightseeing! I've been to few places where from all things my local friends recommended me to visit bookstors and some were just so unique and amazing. I'd love to get a chance to see Milan one day and perhaps visit one of these as well!

Like you said - Milan is NOT what I think of when I imagine books! But I love roaming bookstores in different towns, and these are awesome. Not going to lie, though, Antigone sounds like the best. If you are ever in Asheville, I recommend checking out Firestorm. It's very queer/LGBTQ+ focused, into sustainability, and more.

Ah I feel like this post was made for me! I have such an obsession with bookstores and libraries when I travel! I had to cut my Italy trip short right before Milan unfortunately, but now I'm excited to go back having this post in my pocket to guide me!

These bookshops all look amazing, thank you so much for sharing! I also just read your bibliophile guide to Madrid in Spain, and really liked that post, too. Please keep writing about bookshop tours - I'm adding them all to my (evergrowing) list!
