And you did an excellent job with this post. It’s funny but the whole time I was watching The Queens Gambit I kept thinking why have I never heard of Beth Harmen? Well turns out she is fictional LOL. BUT, there was a real Beth Harmen who wowed the Chess world in the 1930s and her story was pretty exciting too though of course she looked nothing like the character in TQG…hmmm
