London isn’t an easy place to visit as a tourist; in fact, compared with other places I’ve been it’s almost unfriendly. As you say, not planning ahead and hoping to just wing it is bad strategy ’cause you’ll miss the best stuff. The city has great attractions but you need to know where they are, how to access them, etc. Otherwise you’ll just wander around crappy, over-priced areas of little interest. Best tip: ask a local!
