Uri Poliavich’s Vision for iGaming: How Soft2Bet Became a Global Technology Leader

The iGaming technology companies that endure are rarely the ones that moved fastest. They are the ones that built their foundations carefully – investing in the right systems, the right markets, and the right partnerships before expanding further. Soft2Bet. founded by Uri Poliavich in 2016, is a clear example of that approach in practice.

A decade after its founding, the company holds 23 licenses across 12 jurisdictions, operates across competitive markets including Ontario (Canada), Denmark, Sweden, Romania, and has won seven major awards from five of the industry’s most respected ceremonies in 2026 alone. That trajectory reflects a set of decisions made early and consistently – about technology, about operations, and about what it means to be a genuine partner to the operators Soft2Bet works with.

Building From First Principles

Uri Poliavich founded Soft2Bet with a clear conviction: that the entertainment  industry needed technology providers willing to build serious infrastructure rather than assemble it from third-party components. That conviction translated into an early and sustained investment in proprietary development – creating platform products that were designed together, from the start, to function as a coherent system.

This approach has defined the company’s competitive position ever since. While many technology providers offer platforms built on licensed components with varying degrees of integration, Soft2Bet’s operator partners work with a system where the engagement layer, the operational infrastructure, and the analytics are genuinely connected – not simply co-deployed.

The result is a platform that performs differently in production: more responsive, more consistent, and more adaptable to the specific requirements of the markets and operators it serves.

MEGA: The Product That Changed the Conversation

The product that most clearly expresses Soft2Bet’s approach to iGaming technology is MEGA – the Motivational Engineering Gaming Application. Launched in 2023, MEGA is a standalone gamification engine that has shifted how operators think about player engagement.

Rather than treating engagement as a series of isolated promotional moments, MEGA structures it as a continuous journey. Players move through missions, build progression, unlock achievements, and receive rewards generated by transparent, goal-oriented mechanics. The system creates a persistent relationship between the player and the platform – one that does not depend on the next promotional campaign to sustain itself.

The performance data from platforms where MEGA has been deployed reflects the difference this makes. A fourfold increase in player screen time. A 65% improvement in Net Gaming Revenue. A 50% rise in deposit amounts. A 45% increase in Average Revenue Per User. These figures are consistent across diverse operator environments – evidence of a structural approach to engagement that produces reliable outcomes rather than variable ones.

In Ontario (Canada), where players are digitally sophisticated and the competitive landscape is genuinely intense, the ability to build sustained engagement through architecture rather than promotion is a meaningful advantage. MEGA provides exactly that.

PAM: The Operational Foundation

Underlying MEGA is Soft2Bet’s proprietary Player Account Management (PAM) platform – the operational backbone of every deployment. PAM centralises account management, KYC verification, AML controls, risk management, and reporting within a single, configurable framework.

Its modular design allows operators to adapt their configuration to different market requirements without rebuilding core systems – a practical necessity for any operator managing a business across multiple jurisdictions simultaneously. Real-time analytics across the full platform give operators continuous visibility into player activity, financial performance, and operational compliance.

For operators in Ontario (Canada), where operational standards are clearly defined and consistently applied, PAM’s integrated compliance tooling and real-time oversight provide a foundation that supports both performance and accountability.

Seven Awards in 2026

The industry’s assessment of Soft2Bet’s technology has been unambiguous in 2026. At ICE Barcelona in January, the company received Platform Provider of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards EMEA and Innovator of the Year at the International Gaming Awards – two of the sector’s most competitive categories, evaluated independently.

At the EGR Europe Awards in February 2026, Soft2Bet won European Casino Platform Supplier and European Acquisition and Retention Partner. EGR judges pointed directly to MEGA in their citations, noting its measurable contribution to operator outcomes and its effectiveness across the diverse market environments where it has been deployed.

That momentum carried into June, when Soft2Bet won two further awards at the EGR B2B Awards – Innovation in Casino Software and Innovation in Mobile – followed shortly after by Industry Innovation of the Year – North America at the SBC Awards Americas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Seven awards, five ceremonies, six months. The consistency of that recognition reflects something specific: not a single exceptional product launch, but a sustained level of delivery that the industry’s most rigorous evaluators have chosen to recognise simultaneously.

Soft2Bet Invest: Extending the Vision

In 2024, Soft2Bet launched Soft2Bet Invest – a fund dedicated to providing financial and business support to entrepreneurs and companies looking to advance their ideas and operations within the iGaming space. The initiative offers access to Soft2Bet’s infrastructure alongside strategic mentorship, with a focus on startups working in gamification, platform technology, and AI-based personalisation.

The fund reflects the same long-term perspective that has guided Soft2Bet’s development from the beginning. A stronger industry ecosystem – one where the next generation of iGaming innovators can access the resources they need to build serious products – serves operators, players, and the market as a whole.

What a Decade of Building Looks Like

The Soft2Bet that exists in 2026 is the product of ten years of deliberate, consistent investment. In proprietary technology that performs in the industry’s most demanding markets. In operator relationships built around long-term partnership rather than transactional delivery. In a vision of iGaming technology that prioritises structural quality over surface-level features.

Uri Poliavich built that company with a specific idea of what it should be – and the results, both in operator performance and in industry recognition, reflect how clearly that idea has been executed.

For operators in Ontario (Canada) and across the competitive markets where Soft2Bet is active, the company represents a technology partner whose depth of capability and track record of delivery make a compelling case – not through promises, but through results.
